Founded as a franchised distributor of semi-conductor products in 1986, Promate has grown over the years and became an industry leading electronic solution provider. While still providing distribution with highly value added design-in services including IT, industrial, communication, automotive and consumer electronic industries, during the year 1999, Promate started a system integration business unit focusing on the core disciplines of software, optical, mechanical and electrical engineering integration as well as full product development and manufacturing. To further expand our engineer capability, Promate acquired Picoway Technology Corp, a specialized software development company, in 2007 to enhance our engineer capability portfolio allowing for not only product but full system development.

Staffed with over 120 sales engineers based around with world and with an R&D personnel count of over 70 engineers within Taiwan, Promate Electronic strives to be the professional service teammate for our suppliers and valued customers.
